Ways to Register
You may register in person or online via the registration hyperlink for that
particular class. Fees are due at the time of registration or before the
course begins.
Refunds
Missed classes: No refunds can be made for missed classes.
Student cancellation: refund will be awarded (not including deposit) if
student cancels within 4 days prior to the course.
Company cancellation: All monies will be refunded if the course is cancelled by Insight
Educators, EMS Development Unlimited, or Action Preparedness Training.
Retaking a Course
If you do not meet passing requirements, you may retake the course only once at
no additional charge. The course must be retaken within one week of the original
course.
Auditing of Classes
Upon successful completion of a course, the participant may
"audit" the class during their certification cycle at no cost.
No CEU's will be issued for auditing the course. This is made available to
the students/participants so that they have the opportunity to come back and
gain further confidence in their knowledge base and practical skills.
Class Transfers
You may reschedule one time only, a minimum of 24 hours before class date. There
will be a $15.00 rescheduling fee charged payable prior to the beginning of class.
Prerequisites
For any "retraining" or "recertification" course requiring, you must have
provide a copy of your "current" card for the discipline you are about to
receive retraining for with
you at the first class meeting. (Your instructor will ask to see it).
Also, for any of the AHA courses requiring a CD pretest, a hard copy of
that test will be required to enter the class. For further information,

Attendance
Please be on time; Late comers will not be allowed into class unless
arrangements have been made prior. Failing to attend a class in which you are registered will result in forfeiting
the fee.
Health Precautions
You should postpone participation in CPR classes if you are suffering from or
have been exposed to any infection (cold, sore throat, communicable diseases) of
a temporary nature, or if you have any cuts or sores (including recent tooth
extraction). You may ask to use a separate training manikin if you have a
chronic or acute condition but are unable to postpone training.
Clothing
Wear comfortable clothing. Leave jewelry off. Lipstick, Chapstick, etc. should
be removed before working with training manikins.
Physical Activity
Most classes require physical activities such as frequent kneeling and moving
about on the floor, and using physical effort to perform certain skills.
Students must be able to perform all skills satisfactorily.
Babysitting
Child Care services are not available. Guests/Visitors are not permitted in the
classrooms.
