Basic First Aid

Properly applied first aid can save lives, reduce recovery time and quite possibly mean the difference between temporary or lifelong disability for the victim.

Program participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness.

These classes are taught during one and two day sessions depending on the level of desired instruction or specific areas of focus such as Wilderness First Aid, Tactical Medical Intervention, Industrial Response Technician, CPR/First Aid Combination Course, or other industry specific requests/requirements.

The Basic classes cover the following First Aid Topics:

Bleeding

Abdominal Injuries,

Shock,

Pelvic Injuries,

Stroke Fractures,

Seizures,

Sprains & Strains,

Head Injuries,

Sudden Medical Illnesses,

Spinal Injuries,

Diabetic Emergencies,

Wounds & Dressings,

Snake Bites,

Eye Injuries,

Insect Bites & Stings,

Burns,

Heat and Cold Emergencies,

Chest Injuries,

Everyone will have to make the decision to help or not. It's better to know first aid and not need it, than to need it and not know it.
