the crash cart or if they know how to run a "code"...

Advanced Life Support (ALS) Interface - CLINICAL is a course
designed to assist in the understanding and anticipation of
basic level providers who function within a clinical environment
such as a surgery centers, doctors offices, dental or optometric
offices, clinics, etc., to function on an operational level with
advanced level providers. Emphasis will be placed on basic and
advanced airway management devices and skills, identification of
basic rhythm disturbances, identification and management skills
(on a basic level) of actual and/or impeding cardiac arrest, IV
equipment familiarization, bloodborne pathogens and "sharps"
interactions and, stroke management. Class will include lecture,
skill, teaching and testing stations. |

Course Content:
Theory of advanced airway management, Identification of basic rhythm
disturbances, IV access theory, Basic introduction to ACLS algorithms,
BLS operations on ALS units, Medical scene operations.
