| And although it is required that there are CPR certified personnel at
these locations during business hours, it doesn't mean that there is an
organized response plan in place should there be a medical emergency
such as uncontrolled bleeding, entrapment in machinery, a cardiac
arrest. Most of the time, a 9-1-1 phone call is considered
sufficient in these unforeseen circumstances. It is noted that for
each minute that passes, there is an average loss of up to 10% of
survivability for those patients in cardiac arrest. |
